Just a Thought Hey All. Between Dozer, Sniper, Tinny and me, if the four of us picked a night to get together and frag, maybe we can get this party started again. Keep that thought Hi Gretel, how are you & Uncle Johnny? It seems like an enternity since we were all on the server at the same time..wait a minute, it bloody is.. The time difference is still a drag and so is my ping and lag..least some things aint changed uh! A date would be nice, make it one night I can stay up late and play you dope's ok, I might even stay sober..oh wait, why give you'se the advantage .LOL.. count me in count me in! my eve's are pretty free, not a lot of hours comin' from my side job lately, so it's all fair game. i usually hit the servers (ours, cod4) around 6:30ish and stay on until about 9:30 or 10. i guess i went fishing for COD4 interest because there are sometimes when we're empty. if we could coordinate something i'm sure we could get most if not all of our actively playing group and possibly some of our MIA friends to stop by if they saw we were all there. i'll keep checking the posts. side note: sorry to dig it up again but i thought you might find it funny that on the BPC COD4 server, i found a few folks that remind me of gret, dave, dw, and a brit or two...(close as i could get for the scots) kind of an alternate version of us here...lol. of course there's only one snipey! |

Date night? Definitly!!! I'm a big guy I can take Johnny so I'm not askeeered like Sniper. I dont get home till 11pm thabks to my promotion I also have a rotating schedule my days off are different every week. I am off on the 14th this week and the 19th and 20th next week. |

Server Choices Here is my concern here. Dozer Tinman and I had a discussion the other night regarding setting up a server / or creating a "New" game on the options on the cod4 prompt home page. I created a game, but for some reason, the other players could not get into it, kept timing out. Dozer mentioned, that one had to allower "port" factors in your router. Dozer, I guess this posting if more geared to you. When you have a chance, can you play with creating a new game on your end, see what has to be done as far as the setup proceedures? I nor Tinman are not that pc savvy and have been scratching our heads about this one. When and If you get the time, please give me a call, and I will come into the game with you, because you setting up the game on your side, is one thing, I will then try to gain entry into your server IP, then we can take things from there, and if it works, we can post the info for the down the road playing night, and all one has to do is punch in the IP. By the way, I chose to use a password on my setting up, we can keep things simple and chose the password of Clanless. |

Server Choices - Follow-up The reasoning behind us trying to set up from one of our own desktops is this. When Tinman, Bruce, Mark, Dave and myself decided just to go to an "0 players empty server" just to play, we found that in just a few short minutes, we had other players comming in as fast as the roaches come out of a chinese take out joint after the lights go out at the end of the day in NYC. If your efforts fail, no problem, we can always go to an empty server and test the waters for a while. |

I would love to set up a date and time I will do my best to free up a night when I don't have a match or game to coach. I would like very much to participate in a full Clanless evening. 4Q2 would join as well if it is later in the evening. |
